Account Settings & Integrations

Manage your subscription, connect to Betfair, configure your commission rate, set up real-time Telegram bet alerts, and generate Agent API keys.

Your Account page is where you connect Hedger Pro to external services and configure essential settings that govern your betting calculations across the entire application.

To access your account settings, click Account in the top navigation bar or go directly to hedgerpro.co.uk/account/.

Buffer commission

#1 Priority: Setting Your Buffer Commission

::: danger IMPORTANT: Do This First When Moving to Version 2.0! In version 1.6, the Bet tab displayed gross returns without deducting exchange commission. In Version 2.0, the Bets tab and Portfolio calculate your true net profit and loss after commission. For these figures to be accurate, you must enter your Buffer Commission on your Account page. :::

1. On your Account page, locate the Buffer Commission field.
2. Enter your Betfair commission rate (e.g. 2% if you are on Betfair’s Rewards Basic package, or 5% standard).
3. Click Update Profile.

Once saved, Hedger Pro automatically applies this commission deduction across all settled bets on your Bets tab and throughout your Portfolio performance projections!

Betfair connection

Connecting to Betfair

Hedger Pro is an officially approved, trusted Betfair vendor application. To place or schedule bets, your Hedger Pro account must be linked to your Betfair account via secure OAuth.

1. Under Betfair Connection, click Connect to Betfair.
2. You will be redirected to Betfair’s secure official login page.
3. Sign in with your Betfair credentials and grant permission to Hedger Pro.
4. Once authorized, you will return to Hedger Pro. Your connection status will display Connected along with your current Betfair account balance and currency.

::: tip Security Guarantee Hedger Pro never sees or stores your Betfair password. All communication occurs via encrypted, industry-standard Betfair API tokens. :::

Telegram bet alerts

Telegram Bet Alerts & Bot Interaction

Hedger Pro offers two dedicated Telegram bots to keep you informed on the move:

1. General Chat Bot: A community chat for members (link provided in your welcome email).
2. Notifications & Alerts Bot: Sends instant push notifications directly to your phone whenever Hedger Pro places or settles a bet on your Betfair account!

How to Set Up the Notifications Bot

1. On your Account page, click the link to start the Hedger Pro Notifications Bot in Telegram.
2. When the bot opens in Telegram, press Start.
3. The bot will reply with your unique numerical Chat ID.
4. Copy your Chat ID, return to your Hedger Pro Account page, paste it into the Telegram Chat ID box, and click Update Profile.

Chatting with the Bot

In addition to receiving instant bet alerts, you can message the bot anytime with simple commands:

• Type /status to check system and betting status.
• Type /bets to see a quick summary of recent bets and today’s action.

Agent API key

Agent API Key (AI Assistants & Automation)

Version 2.0 introduces support for large language models (LLMs), AI coding assistants, and automated custom scripts via the Agent API:

• Generate Key: Click Generate API Key to produce a secure, personal access token.
• Integrate with AI Assistants: Pass your key to custom AI scripts or autonomous coding agents (such as Antigravity or Claude) to programmatically query your account qualifiers, monitor betting status, or audit portfolio statistics.
• Documentation: Click the documentation link beside the key to explore API endpoints and request schemas.
